Independent Contractor Policy
Independent contractors are self-employed professionals who enter into a service agreement with Helping Hands Superior Care LLC to deliver care and support services to our clients in exchange for a service fee.
Key points regarding independent contractor status:

Independent contractors are not employees of Helping Hands Superior Care LLC and are not added to our payroll system.

Contractors are required to submit invoices or claims to Helping Hands Superior Care LLC for services rendered. Payments will be made in accordance with our published Claim Processing Calendar.

Helping Hands Superior Care LLC does not withhold any federal, state, or local taxes from contractor payments. Contractors are fully responsible for managing and fulfilling their own tax obligations.

All income received during a calendar or tax year must be reported by the contractor to the IRS using the appropriate Form 1099-MISC.
As an independent contractor, you are recognized as a self-employed service provider. You are responsible for maintaining your financial records and verifying your income as a business entity.
Helping Hands Superior Care LLC can provide a formal Independent Contractor Income Verification Letter upon written request.
To ensure prompt processing, please submit your request in advance. Verification letters will be issued within 5 to 7 business days from the date of request.
