Key points regarding independent contractor status:

  • Independent contractors are not employees of Helping Hands Superior Care LLC and are not added to our payroll system.

  • Contractors are required to submit invoices or claims to Helping Hands Superior Care LLC for services rendered. Payments will be made in accordance with our published Claim Processing Calendar.

  • Helping Hands Superior Care LLC does not withhold any federal, state, or local taxes from contractor payments. Contractors are fully responsible for managing and fulfilling their own tax obligations.

  • All income received during a calendar or tax year must be reported by the contractor to the IRS using the appropriate Form 1099-MISC.
